berlinleben is a free life simulation game that runs in your browser. You live a life in Berlin: you look for a flat, get a job, pay the rent, meet people in your Kiez and explore real neighbourhoods. No download, no cost, 16+.
🎯 What is it about?
You live a life in Berlin: find a flat, get a job, earn money, meet people, get to know the city. There is no “end”. The game runs in real time, even when you are away.
🗺️ Map and Kiez
On the map, tap a Kiez or a place. In the Kiez (street view) tap the ground to walk, or a building to go in. The chips at the bottom show places nearby.
❤️ Needs
Hunger, energy, hygiene, bladder, fun and social drop over time. The bars at the top left show what is missing. Eating, sleeping, showering, the toilet, games and meeting people fill them up. If one stays at zero it gets expensive or you end up in hospital.
💶 Money, rent and jobs
You start with some money. Rent is due every week. On the phone under “Jobs” you apply, go to your shifts at your workplace and get promoted. Shifts have fixed times: be on time or the pay is lower.
🏠 Home
In your flat you sleep, cook, shower and play. You buy furniture in the shop. “Home” at the bottom takes you home, “Phone” opens your phone.
📱 The phone
Here are jobs, bank, transport, flats, people, skills, learning (short courses, driving licence), games, your dog and settings. Tap an icon to open the app.
🚇 Getting around
On foot, by U-Bahn, bus, cab, bike or train: every trip takes time and costs money. The trip is shown as a small scene. On the street watch the lights: standing on the road for long gets you a fine.
🎓 Learning and skills
Courses, books, sport and practice raise your skills. Higher job levels need qualifications. Short courses have five lessons and a short quiz.
💎 Every day
Every day there are daily goals and five gems on the map. Your dog wants feeding and walking. The more often you come, the longer your streak.
🤝 Playing together
Write in the Kiez chat, tap other players and invite friends with your ID-card link. Be nice: insults and personal data are filtered, and you can report or block players.
⚠️ Good to know
The game is for ages 16 and up. Ads are marked “Anzeige”. Never pay real money to other players, and never share your password or recovery code.
